Technical Features of Tugger Winch

• The winch is designed with overload protection system which allows the winch operator to set the maximum allowable pulling force.
• The winch is equipped with an emergency release function to ensure the safety of the ship in the harsh marine environment and avoid risk factors that threaten the stability of the ship.
• The electric winch is equipped with an automatic braking device, which works when the controller is adjusted to the “stop” or “brake” position, and also works when there is no tension on the winch.
• All types of winches are equipped with drum brakes, which shall have both normal braking and emergency braking functions.
• The drum is designed to accommodate at least 50m of steel wire rope at the bottom layer.
• The winch can be equipped with a rope spooling device for efficient rope winding.
