Electric power winch is a cost-effective option to handle anchors and ships. It can be designed with one or two drums depending on its intended use. In addition, the electric tug winch can be delivered with a single or two speed efficient electric motor or a variable frequency drive.
Electric winches provide safe and reliable operation, low operational cost and easy maintenance. An electric control box that comprises up/down push buttons and emergency stop can be situated on or near the winch to operate it. Remote control (pendant control or wireless remote control) is also available as optional.

The hydraulic winch is able to support the crew in the heavier duty applications, such as to work with towing gears, chain bridles and towing plates. It can handle anchors and vessels with constant power. With high strength and durability, the winch is ideal for the most demanding tasks in marine and offshore applications.
This type of winch is more complex in structure comparing to an electric winch since a hydraulic pump is required to operate the winch. What’s more, the installation of the winch requires additional pipes and fittings.
Apart from the standard winches, we also provide custom winch system to match special requirements of our customers. Contact us for a consultation!

Electric & Hydraulic Winch: Which One Is Right for The Job?
The first thing you might consider in the selection of a winch is the motive power used. There are several factors determining the type of motive power, such as user’s preference and technical requirements, the available infrastructure and financial reasons.
Electric power winch: electric drive is already used for many marine winches. It provides easy load control, excellent safety and reliability, and also low operation and maintenance cost. The electric motor is IP56 protected for safe operation.

Hydraulic power winch: the compact motor with high strength and torque capabilities makes the hydraulic winch preferred for rugged applications in marine. However, the hydraulics can be noisy and require additional equipment, such as hydraulic pump, pipes and other fittings.
