Electric anchor winch

Electric winch windlass is most widely used on small and medium ships. The power source is an electric motor, which drives the main shaft to rotate after multi-stage deceleration through the gears in the reduction box. Due to the high speed reduction ratio requirements, the speed reduction mechanism is relatively large. Electric power winch has simple system, low operating costs, easy installation and maintenance, which is a cost-effective choice for your boats.

Hydraulic anchor winch

For modern large and medium-sized ships, the use of hydraulic winch is more economical and reliable. The hydraulic windlass is also called electric hydraulic windlass because its hydraulic energy comes from the oil pump device driven by the electric motor. The hydraulic windlass consists of three main parts: the electrical part, the hydraulic part and the anchoring machinery. The electric motor and the oil pump form an energy device, which is generally placed in the cabin with electrical equipment, and the oil motor and anchoring machinery are placed on the deck, and the two are connected by pipelines. Hydraulic anchor winch has the following characteristics:

Technical Requirements of Anchor Winch

1. The steel rope used for the anchor winch should be galvanized steel rope, the nominal tensile strength is 1870MPa or 1960MPa.
2. The diameter of the drum should not be less than 16 times the diameter of the designed wire rope.
3. The integral drum of normal capacity can wrap the full length of the wire rope without exceeding 5 layers. Large-capacity drum should use segmented drum.
4. There should be a clutch between the drum and the driving device, and the clutch should have a reliable locking device.
5. The winch can be designed with or withoutwarping head.
